General
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on improving core strength, posture, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness. It is suitable for people of all fitness levels and helps you move more efficiently in everyday life.
Is Pilates suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Our classes are suitable for beginners, and our instructors will guide you through the exercises while offering modifications to suit your fitness level and experience. If it’s your first time doing Pilates, we encourage you to consider starting with private sessions.
What is the difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates?
Mat Pilates uses your body weight and small props to build strength, stability, and flexibility. Reformer Pilates is performed on a specialised machine that uses springs to provide adjustable resistance, allowing for greater exercise variety and personalised progression.
How often should I do Pilates?
For the best results, we recommend attending 2–3 classes per week. Consistent practice will help improve strength, mobility, posture, and overall well-being.
